Like you, my story is one of perseverance.

As a conservative centrist, I believe in free markets, limited government, and fiscal responsibility.

And I am also a Christian who believes that prayer works, church is sacred, and love conquers all. As a faith-based risk taker, I’m not afraid to ask, “What if?”

With perseverance, American Dreams come true

These values converged in 1990, when I started the baseball brand A.D. Starr, which I named after my sons, Aaron and Donnie. Despite being new to that industry, I learned how to import balls and ship them directly to youth leagues. Oh sure, the start-up process was grueling, but eventually my sons and I were shipping 60,000 dozen balls to almost 2000 customers.

Some years later, wanting to pursue new dreams, I profitably sold the brand, which I am thrilled to say is now owned by Dick’s Sporting Goods, and serves as the official baseball of the Little League World Series.

None of that would be possible today.

Sadly, for too long, our federal government fostered an economy that benefited only corporate America and Wall Street. Small business has long been left for dead, and our communities have suffered.

No more.

Like before, I’m new to politics - but now I'm running for the U.S. Congress in Georgia's 6th District - to reclaim our government from smug elites who are hopelessly detached from everyday life. Rest assured, special interests can’t buy me, and I am still the out-of-the-box thinker who wonders, “What if?”
If we don’t reduce burdensome regulations, cut wasteful spending, and promote pro-growth policies, wasteful politicians will destroy the jobs and American Dreams of hard-working Georgians in the 6th District.

The time is now.

Like you, my life is shaped by steadfast devotion to family, faith, and justice. Atlanta - and the U.S. - will crumble if we don’t prioritize American values like hard-work, integrity and entrepreneurship.
